Sponsorships and philanthropic support are critical to reach our warriors and protectors with the healing power of storytelling. Every day The Heroes Journey receives requests to hold storytelling workshops and bring Last Out to a new stage. Your support helps us reach warriors in your community who are in need of a conduit to healing and validation. We must keep the lights on of this important story and not turn the page on our veterans and military families.

When we tell our stories, we can heal. When our stories are heard, we feel understood and validated. The 20-year war in Afghanistan and how the United States withdrew from the fight left those who served in the conflict feeling betrayed and humiliated. Deeper still, they feel a deep moral injury as they left their Afghan allies behind. What is needed is feeling connected to their community and to those around them – in the workplace, with their peers, friends and family. Generations of American veterans need an outlet for their experiences and storytelling is a powerful conduit. This is what The Heroes Journey makes possible for veterans, service members, Gold Star families, first responders and others through our storytelling workshops and the play, "Last Out: Elegy of a Green Beret." Philanthropic support is critical to fulfill the mission of The Heroes Journey. Your support can help us sustain and expand this important work.
